James Blunt's debut album, Back To Bedlam, is without doubt one of the best albums to be released this year.

Once in a while an album comes along that captures the heart and mind of those listening to it and can transport the listener to another place.... this is one such album. After spending the majority of his adulthood protecting the Queen and her Mother and leading troops into the war torn city of Kosovo, James Blunt left the army last year and armed only with some dodgy demos, almost immediately found himself with a manager and a publishing deal. It wasn't long before he had the record deal he wanted. Since then he has managed to record an album that is not only getting rave reviews from the music industry press, but also from those that are generally much harsher critics... his peers.

Back To Bedlam features 10 beautiful heartfelt songs. A breathtaking debut album which smacks of the personal experiences, both tragic and uplifting, that have shaped his live to date. It's a masterful debut and one that you mustn't allow to pass you by.

'You're Beautiful' is the sublime new single from James Blunt, taken from his critically acclaimed debut album, 'Back To Bedlam'.

The single follows the release of the Radio 2 A Listed, 'Wisemen'.

The track was co-written by James Blunt and produced by Tom Rothrock whose credits include Beck, Badly Drawn Boy and Elliot Smith (one of Blunt's major influences).

James supported both Elton John and Lloyd Cole & The Commotions on their sold out UK tours last year and has just finished performing at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas as featured heavily on Radio 2.

Blunt is pleased to announce he will be joining Ryan Adams, Willy Mason and Bright Eyes on the John Peel Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival, Sunday June 26th and will also be playing at the Wireless Festival on June 29th.

Initially signed to Custard Records by the hugely successful producer/songwriter Linda Perry (Christina Aguilera, Pink, Courtney Love), the album was recorded in LA and is heavily influenced by the classic American 1970's singer/songwriter tradition.

In some ways everything you need to know about James Blunt is there in his astonishing debut album, 'Back To Bedlam'.

Ranging from acoustic, stripped down and intimate songs through to band driven, energetic numbers, the album charts a man's journey through life, his experiences, relationships, hardships and aspirations.
